Root Canals

A root canal is a dental procedure designed to treat and save a tooth that is severely infected or decayed. The term "root canal" refers to the natural cavity within the center of the tooth, as well as to the procedure itself. The dental pulp, which consists of nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissue, is located within the root canal.
